Building - Govenor Philip E. Batt

A champion of human rights in the state, Governor Batt was born in Wilder, Idaho. Governor from 1995 to 1999, Batt had previously served as lieutenant governor and as a member of the Idaho Legislature. Featured quote: “My mother taught me to treat everyone the same. We’re at our best as a society when we accept that we are all equal, we all have something to contribute, and we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.”
